Hi, I'm Crawford. I am a writer, graphic designer, and collagist.
I like swimming, typography, citrus, and Agnes Martin's paintings of pools. I studied linguistics at The University of Texas at Austin but found my way to graphic design through paper collage. After graduating from college, I spent one year in Chiapas, Mexico on a Fulbright Fellowship, followed by four years with TED Talks in New York City before attending the Shillington School of Graphic Design.
I write both copy and fiction. In 2020, I was awarded the A Public Space Writing Fellowship by the literary magazine A Public Space. This fall, I will be attending NYU's Creative Writing MFA as a Goldwater Fellow.
I'm currently looking for freelance opportunities, so please get in touch if you'd like to work together!
